So things didn't go so great at Smallville Comic Con. Mostly due to things out of my control, but my own stubborn-ness didn't help either. I was pretty sick going in and brushed it off, and I really should have gone to a doctor. Basically resulted in my uterus committing seppuku and now I have another surgery coming up to resolve the issue. Go me.
Unfortunately, this means that Roller Guard will likely not make the initial release date for Kansas City Comic Con. I'm trying my best to get this linework done, but unfortunately I am one person doing all illustration and part of writing, and that's not going to happen with a week of drugged downtime and two months of limited physical labor.
As far as the actual event, Smallville was okay. I'm not a big fan of panels, I'm more of an AA browser. Unfortunately I barely made table so I couldn't afford to browse as much as I wanted. It probably didn't help that I was also sore as hell, but I did my best to put on a happy face for the attendees. ;u;
The face you make when you wanna be cool but you're actually in excruciating pain lmao
Sidenote, this lovely lady bought Beedee's original oil canvas and that gave me the biggest happy ever. No more sitting in my house collecting dust, he gets a home where he can be appreciated properly, just like he's always deserved. Hopefully that will symbolize the end of that ghost. Not likely, but hopefully. I'm just glad to see it go somewhere that loves it. I really didn't mean to match the legs with the canvas in this shot but haha
Anyways, I'm still working on lineart. Just a lot slower than I had hoped. Doing my best. Warm fuzzies for everyone. :>
